SIB 2008 confirms its role as the international reference expo for audio, lighting and video technology and services for the show business world and entertainment in general.
Alongside new products from all over the world as far as leisure and amusement are concerned, there will also be specific solutions for those who organize cultural and show events and for professional conference and expo organizers.
SIB has announced numerous interesting new features for 2008.
Technical markets are increasingly overlapping: integrated systems and the expertise of companies specialized in show business are also increasingly applied to sectors that are close to entertainment, even if different. One of the new terms at SIB 2008 will therefore be: System Integration.
Space will therefore be dedicated to the technology and culture of system integration and all equipment with a high technological content. The present-day installation market includes numerous interesting applications, which range from Retail to Cruises, from Public Administration to Large Projects, the Trade Fair/Museum sector, Corporate through to Digital Signage.
The actual expo, which through the years has addressed an increasingly professional public, will have the added attraction of events in the local area’s venues, which set the trends and fashions for coming seasons. In 2008, for the first time, with the contribution of the local area and in the context of joint action by the expo and the town, SIB’s "outside the show" will become an integral part of the expo’s program of events.
